DANVILLE \/ MADRID \u2013 US textile-to-textile recycling pioneer\u00a0Circ\u00a0has agreed a deal to provide circular fibres at industrial scale to Spanish next-gen textile R&D company\u00a0Pyratex.<\/p>\n

Pyratex has already developed fabrics with Circ\u2019s recycled polyester and lyocell fibres but is now set to scale volumes as Circ develops its\u00a0first industrial scale plant\u00a0in Saint-Avold, France.<\/p>\n

Circ\u2019s patented \u2018hydrothermal\u2019 process \u2013 which uses water as a solvent \u2013 aims to recycle cotton, polyester and poly-cotton blends into virgin-equivalent, market-grade dissolving pulp and petroleum monomers.<\/p>\n
